Winter is attempting to visit Texas. Only on Wednesday, it was 78 degrees and now 28 degrees and three inches of sleet cover our roads and yards. School is out, work postponed and we're all home together. So with David running interference with the kids for me... I'm here in the studio working on our cards. I started last week out at Cat's, yet there's still much more to do and get done.
If you've been scrapping and card making for as long as I, you're bound to have a stash of scraps. Every year I plan and purchase all my supplies, but this year I attempted to pull from my stash. So, anything that fell into my "color plan" was pulled out and cut down for my card fronts. There's G45, MME, Authentic, Daisy D, Aspargus...(yes, I hoard my paper and some is "vintage"!!) Card fronts are cut and inked... next!
Being inspired by Tim Holtz's 12 Tags of 2013 and Pinterest... AND taking techniques taught via Nanci Holtsford at Cat's Creations, I cut a stack of Kraft paper dies, embossed and inked. Love my Tim Holtz/Sizzix embossing folders!
I've reached the embellishment stage now...mass production of poinsettias, snowflakes and what ever mini Christmas inspired goodies I have the means of making! This is where the fun kicks in..however I best hurry. As usual, I'm running behind with my cards. The mailbox has already received a few Christmas cards and the pressure is on!

Awesome! Me thinks I will be sending out bought cards. Gasp!!
As always, these look great! I've started making a few. The last few years I only send cards to those who send them to me...for the most part. That has cut my list way down!
Hello :)
It's complete post with my tags (sorry)
