Finally a new post!!

It's official. Me da is hitched! Back in December after a

Christmas in Illinois with the Wharton
clan. (It was fabulous, more to follow!) It was a whirlwind weekend, at times a little stressful, but over all loads of fun. Erin was a flower girl, who took her job very seriously. Taylor was a junior groomsmen, who worried about having to touch the young junior bridesmaid, that he escorted down the aisle. He survived and didn't have to hold hands or anything! I was best man. Yep, took a woman to do the job! Sarah literally fell asleep a hour before the ceremony started, David opted to let her sleep and met us at the reception! (with all the traveling these kids were tired!)

In the days after the wedding, we celebrated the New Year, played NURTZ!, did a little site seeing and even got in a movie. Taylor will tell you, DON'T see Eragon. I must say, I agree. No justice to the book what so ever.

We're home and settled back in. Both girls are happy to be back at school with their friends. Erin lost a tooth!!! Actually David had to pull it out, but it's OUT. David is already gone on detachment for three weeks. Tough one, Key West. After that, it's a weekend in Daytona for VFA-201 for the "Fly By" for the Daytona 500. Then David will be home for a nice long stretch.
