Veteran's Day

It's Veteran's Day weekend... Erin is amazed by the number of flags at our local cemetary, but it's another opportunity for a lesson. She gets so quiet and reflective when we talk about soliders, military, respect, honor and our nations history. (Of course on a watered down seven year old level) At the town hall in Weatherford, the lawn is covered in American Flags. It's a sight to be seen.

David had the weekend off, while he's in Key West working hard on detachment. ;) They were preparing for a huge barbeque. While here in Texas, things were a bit more quiet. Both girls have gone their round with strep throat. So instead, we've watched movies and the girls made Christmas cards for our service men and woman over seas.
