This page was built on Tajmahal paper from DCWV . Jeanne recently attended a class that showed how to make paper flowers from scraps.... OMGosh! I'm addicted to making these. Three circles, crumple, tear, ink and sand...I continued building with more Prima flowers, embellisments and a rub-offs. You can't see from here but it's a picture of Sarah when she was a toddler when we first moved here to Texas in 2003. After a weeks on the road moving, she was very content to walk up our friends drive and back down...over and over....if Sarah had little boots on...Yep, I'd use the title....
Preserving our memories and moments one page at a time....among the crazy chaos of three children

Scrapin' Creations
Well, my peeps are posting pics of their creations lately, so I thought I'd share too. These first two pages are using a PageMap by Becky Fleck. I've been watching my df Staci use these little flash cards with page layouts printed on them. I'll be the first to admit, I thought what a lame idea...scraplifting other layouts! We're too creative and original....but I quickly learned that I was killing more time "brain storming" than creating actual pages. So, I grabbed one of Staci's cards and BOOM..I was flying with this page layout!! Once I had determined where the pictures are suppose to go...I spent my time working on the embellishments (tiles made with rubber stamps from Stampin' Up), paper flowers by Prima, little pebbles by Robin's nest and watch faces by Heidi Swapp. Overall I think the finished product turned out GREAT. I still need some journal blocks but I was excited by the amount of time I DIDN'T use on this layout. So, I got home from retreat, went online to PageMaps.com and promptly ordered my book and flashcards!!!! LOVE THEM.

These pages are great Shaunery! You may have looked at the cards for ideas, but these pages totally have your creativity in them! Good job.
