Let's go POJO Let's GO! Yep, it's that time again. Erin is cheering again, after taking her third grade year off. She missed the socialization and being part of a "team". Sarah misses the snacks and treats you get at games. *sigh*
We have practice on Mondays and Thursdays, they're even discussing practice on Saturdays early in the morning to beat the heat. We'll see.
I've turned down being team photographer, passing on cheer mom, passing on assist. coach...I'm sitting on the sidelines with Sarah and Taylor this year. The pictures I take will be of my daughters. I'll be focused on three children this year, Erin, Sarah & Taylor, no one else. How we managed to show up to games prepared and ready and still helped 15-18 little girls prepare two years ago is beyond me. But it will be nice to show up, send Erin down to the field and climb up into the stands with Taylor and Sarah. It will be nice to actually pay attention to Sarah, watch a game and cheer for our team.
I'm a little tense on how the heat will effect Sarah. And I know she's always a challenge out in public, out of her comfort zone and element, but we'll manage thru. I thought ahead when ordering Erin's uniform, bought Sarah her own pom-pom's. I'll have to go find socks and I'm hoping her fixation on Erins new white shoes will pass. I know a woman who makes hair ribbons and clips so I might contact her for headbands for the girls...who knows.
