Every where you look on radar maps is rain...rain, rain, rain. It's in D.C., it's in Colorado, Kansas, Illinois, rain, rain....EXCEPT in the Dallas/Ft. Worth Metroplex. Folks say, oooh a tropical storm is coming to Texas. Well, by the looks of it, it hit land and dried UP! Instead it's creating a pocket of hell for us. The forcast calls for rain, ALL AROUND us but not HERE! ARgghghghgghg I'm with Jeanne, 105 - 108 temperatures SUCK and if there's rain allll around us...it's gonna be HUMID. Nope, you won't be hearing any of that "It's a dry heat" crap from folks around here...intead you'll hear..."this SUUUUUCCCKS".
Monday, cheer practice was called on account of heat advisory's (hey stupid, it's HOT!) I was already seriously considering on flaking anyway... but thank god there were those advisory's. Sadly seems several folks here in Texas didn't listen, cuz well they died. But then when it's this hot outside, you'd think common sense might kick in.
Okay, that's off my chest. Had to grip about something and well the weather is the only real negative thing going on my life...kinda makes you wish for the days of El Nino!!! Ole!

Hey - it finally sprinkled just a teeny tiny bit here this morning. I think I might still have to go water the garden though - that's how little it sprinkled. :-(
Sorry you are miserable down there. Our temps haven't gotten to triple digits yet but the heat index was 110 the other day! ARGH!!!!
I was in Vegas about 8 years ago in the middle of July.....113 in the shade!!!!! AWFUL!!!!
I haven't seen much rain here since spring. Lite showers over night....
