The phone call began with, "I insist on watching the girls, so you can take Taylor to Brookshires." Uh, okay but why?? Apparently the #43 Cheerio Nascar was there on it's promotional tour. Why, cuz it's race weekend here in TEXAS. That's right, kicking off tomorrow afternoon everyone who anyone (with tickets that is), is preparing for the weekends races.
So, Taylor and I loaded up and this is what we found! Hal Wooly, alternate driver for the #43 and drives in the truck series as well (guess we'll go look him up now) was there autographing, answering questions and posing for pictures. He was preparing to load the car into it's trailer, so we were just in time...Snapped a few pictures, Taylor touched THE car, and we even got some video footage including sound! You think motorcycles are loud when they start up, try standing next to this babe!!
Tomorrow the car will be in Azle and Taylor wants me to take his hat down and see if Bobby will be present....who knows. I'll give it a shot, besides the radio stations will be there too. Maybe they'll have some great giveaways and prizes... Check out Brookshires in Azle tomorrow from 10am to 4am. It's a great photo op, fun for the kiddies and heck that Hal guy is kinda cute!
