Okay so it's hot and a little muggy here. The kids are complaining there's nothing to do and I'm beginning to think the same thing. Talked to good df Jennifer and her household is suffering from the same. Little bit later, Jennifer calls and says, "Let's go to Shady Grove Park and swim!". I'm like, "it's a park...since when can you swim there?" I had no idea there was a little beach tucked away. So loaded up the kids, sunblock, towels, cooler and all the other junk needed for lake swimming. Sarah cracked up up with her floaties and goggles. Eric was just cute and the three older ones are goofs. Three hours later I had three very exhausted children and one tired mommy.

That's the name of the game. Except you aren't suppose to tire yourself out also. Looks like a neat spot. Too bad I don't swim in the lake. Bad scare as a child and still traumatized.
How fun! I haven't gone lake swimming since I've lived in Texas. Makes me want to go.
Um..don't you like live near LAKE Granbury??? LOL!!
yeah, but that doesn't mean we GO there.
