Maybe I should title this "Motivational Monday's"... but I know myself better and this will be the last Monday I feel motivated if I make it a goal. We had a BEAUTIFUL day here in Texas. Our high today was 78 degree's so it felt a bit like spring. And spring means some SPRING CLEANING. I'm not a clean fanatic, I'm not even domestic but my head and heart have been out of sorts lately, so cleaning and organizing the house made me feel like maybe I can clean and sort out my insides.
I made it into the "studio" today because well I had to do laundry today too. And since the laundry shares with the studio...So, de-cluttering and cleaning the stashes has begun. I've been holding onto a cookie tin with the intention of altering it. But what to do to it? The tidying continued and I kept picking up coins. Little idea! Coin Can!! So, busted out my favorite last piece of Cosmo Cricket, some scrap of Paper Studio and my Tim Holtz die. (I love this dress form die so much) A simple, yet effective means of collecting the loose change from our pockets. And it matches the "Studio/Laundry" room to boot!
That's all. I'm going back to sorting and straightening up this room and my stash. There's this little band-aid tin peeking out at me now... but the desk is still cluttered....lot's of stuff needs new homes... but the tin keeps waving at me. Mmmmm...

Cute idea! Love that dress form! I've been cleaning my craft room as well. It was totally clean and then I had the great idea of organizing all my rubber stamps. Uh-oh. Stuff is every where again! And now I need to shove it aside to work on a design team project. I think this is how my room gets in such a mess.
It was a beautiful day yesterday! Hope you have a good one today too!

Great idea Shaunery! Love what you did with this can! Seems there are some advantages to having your crafting area where you do laundry! Cute how you "dressed up" the dress form! LOL!
Love this tin... I have a bottle - it is my holiday spending money :D but I love this tin such a cool idea....
