Saturday was Springtown's annual Wild West Festival. Every year we have a parade and float entries. Erin's cheer squad won first prize last year with their float entry and all the girls wanted to "keep" the pride rollin'. So, they voted on a theme and "Under the Sea" won. Our coaches and volunteer parents did a great job on the float! I was amazed when we walked up to it. I honestly don't know HOW we're gonna top it next year. But KUDO's to our coach, asst. coaches and volunteers. Later in the day, the girls coach brought their TROPHY to the game. Yep, first prize second year in a row!!
For all my friends that know me, this was a weird year. I haven't volunteered for anything really and it feels soooo liberating but at the same time, strange. I'm use to wearing multiple hats and I'm down to a few. Oh well, I'll just sit back and enjoy the ride.

Yeah shaunery you surprised me when I seen you at the parade walking! Heidi look shaunery! And erin! She was happy to see erin in the float. Even so excited to get a sucker from shaunery. That make heidi's day she saw people she knew. It was cute you guys missed it heidi is a card!

Wow, that is great. Sounds like you had a great time. You deserve and chance to sit back and enjoy the show instead of always being the one to volunteer. Enjoy it while you can!
Erin is becomming quite the shutter bug.... She never misses a chance to pose for the camera... You have got to love that.
