It was official, we had our first full snow day on Friday. Weeee. Woke to the brilliant glare from the sunlight shinning on the snow covered yards and rooftops and to the sound of dripping. Erin woke Taylor by telling him, "It's MELTING!" In a flash, the kids were dressed and outside to play in the snow before it melted away. I was left thinking to myself, "and this is why we cancelled school?" Come on, a two hour delay maybe, but a FULL day?? *sigh* Now we have Saturday and Sunday left to endure, I mean enjoy. Hope everyone who has snow is enjoying and taking pictures, and for those who don't, I can put some snow in the freezer for the kids.......

We've had our share of snow this winter - none in the freezer for us! Glad the kiddos enjoyed it. Mine started taking the sled down the swingset slide for ultimate sledding fun.
LOL I think the assistant superintendent's wife having a wreck last year on her way to inservice on a snowy day had something to do with it.
