Schools out, schools out, weeeeee! Today was THE last day of school. For Sarah that meant donuts and juice with all her Pre-K friends and teachers. After morning assembly, all the children and staff gathered together in the music room courtyard for DONUTS. This was time for picture taking, hugs and well wishes for everyone. Sarah gave Miss Winn hugs and posed so nicely for this picture. We're sad that Miss Winn won't be here next year, but we're very happy for her upcoming wedding. We promise to keep her posted on Sarah and her successes. We hung around for some picture taking, dancing and general goofing off
But then we had to motor on over to SES to see Erin and her classmates. Not too many had stuck around but what few who were left posed for a group shot. Not bad, eh? Then we learned of more news! Mrs. Mullins is moving on too. Next year
Azle school district will have the pleasure of Mrs. Mullins teaching expertise. We'll certainly miss her, Erin has acheived so much thanks to her. It seems that just recently Erin has finally developed a passion for reading. She's been reading the Magic Tree House series and loves them. Also, Erin has decided to tackle the first Harry Potter book. Go Erin!
So, tomorrow Erin will probably wake up at 6:00 (normally, she'd wake at 6:30 for school...) watch cartoons and by 10:00 am will complain that she's bored. We'll kick her outside, weather permitting, and she'll return shortly complaining that it's too hot and that there's nothing to do. Then she'll complain there is no one to play with....*sigh* School won't start again until August 27th...
